Here's a first look at the new Ally design for the Ninja'd Reboot.
I looked back at a lot of her old sketches and sort of combined the best qualities of her past designs into one
As stated before Ally's demeanor in this reformatted story line is not going to be that of a cranky over stressed artist, but more of an optimistic, not so sure of herself, and likable character that I'm hoping most will relate to. She knows her strengths and even after the creation of Ted and Nindo, isn't very confident in her talents to get her far. That is where Ted and Nin will come into the story as sort of a rock for her to hold onto and the conscience she needs to push her where she needs to go.
In the original Ninja'd, Ally was constantly being harassed by Ted and Nindo because they wanted her to become famous so they can be famous, in the reboot that theme is going to be mellowed out to a dull roar which will allow the trio to gain some unity and work together. Ted will also have mellowed out, taking sort of a Big Brother role in Ally's life. Ted will have also become more cynical and practical at his views on life and Ally's career. Nindo will have gained a bigger role in the storyline. While looking at the original I was noticing that Nindo was more of a background character than anything and really served no purpose on the team. In the new Ninja'd I plan on including him more and making him just a little more assertive and sometimes snarky. Which will come in handy once Cori enters the storyline.
This storyline will be loosley based around the original Ninja'd storyline, but with homages to Ally's role in Boston Yard and The Collsworth Family. I'm even going as far as to change Corey Collins and Ally Brine back to Cori Collsworth and Ally Brinesworth. This is mainly because I'm going back to square 1 with their characters and presenting them in their almost original formats, and lets face it.... Corey and Ally in Ninja'd were completly different characters than Cori and Ally in BYard and TCF.
